Hi, my name is Evan Miller. I’m a Full Stack Engineer with over eight years of experience developing applications built on modern Javascript frameworks. I live and work in Anderson, South Carolina and am a father to my beautiful daughter Oaklyn. If I had to describe myself in one word, it would have to be "different".

I graduated from Clemson University with a bachelors degree in biology with an emphasis in pharmacy. In my first interview for a lab technician position I was asked, "what is your dream job". My mind went blank and all I could think of was a software engineer. That's what I said and went on about how I began learning basic programming languages on my own a year or so before graduating. After that I started looking for the quickest way to become a software engineer and enrolled in a front-end engineering program at The Iron Yard. A month after graduating I was hired, and my career as a developer began!

I am a hard worker and enjoy what I get to do everyday. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my daughter, wood working, riding motocross, and doing anything outdoors. I also enjoy keeping up with the always progressing software technologies.
